Auchentoshan American Oak

Auchentoshan American Oak comes from the Scottish region of Lowlands. It is a triple distilled single malt Scotch that has matured in first and second fill American oak casks.

Auchentoshan is a unique Scottish distillery that practices triple distillation - a process rather foreign to common Scottish distillers - which gives its spirit a smoother, sweeter texture. American Oak matures exclusively in American oak barrels.

Flavor-wise, it is a light, bright whisky with a good dose of vanilla sweetness, complemented by coconut and notes of juicy citrus. This whisky stands out with its flavor. An ideal whisky for any of your favorite toasts – on its own, in whisky cocktails, or even combined with Ale beer.

It is recommended with a cube of ice, which "opens up" the tropical and vanilla notes while gently softening the alcoholic lines. Great for cocktails as a refreshing Lowland component, for example in Whisky & Ale, but also in classic mixed drinks where you can appreciate its sweet-creamy character without strong dominance.
