The Auchentoshan distillery is one of the few Scottish distilleries that still uses the traditional triple distillation method. As a result, the final spirit is exceptionally smooth, delicate and marked by a distinct purity of character.
The whisky matures in a combination of American ex-bourbon barrels and ex-sherry casks, which add balance between sweetness, fruitiness and gentle spice. The result is a harmonious, highly approachable single malt, ideal for both beginners and fans of lighter-style whiskies.
