Description
Bladnoch Alinta is a very strongly peated Scottish single malt whisky from the Lowland region. Aged in first-fill ex-bourbon and ex-sherry Pedro Ximénez casks. The Bladnoch distillery has been owned by Australian entrepreneur David Prior since 2015.
The name Alinta is an Australian word for fire from several language groups in southeastern Australia and evokes the tones of glowing embers found in every sip of this whisky. The entire production process was overseen by Master Distiller Dr. Nick Savage.
The whisky was then bottled without added coloring and chill filtration at 47 % alcohol by volume. The bottle comes in a very nice gift box.
