Ailsa Bay Release 1.2 Sweet Smoke

Ailsa Bay Release 1.2 Sweet Smoke is a great Lowland Scotch whisky with a new design! This single malt was produced at the Girvan Distillery located in Carrick.

The whisky will surprise you with a great smoky aroma, which is complemented by tones of pastry, caramel, earth and fruit. Its great sweet taste will surprise you with high values that reach an incredible 19 SPPM (sweetness parts per million). These values were measured by Master Blender Brian Kinsman.

The level of phenol reaches up to 22 PPPM (phenol parts per million). The whiskey matured for 6 to 9 months in ex-bourbon Hudson Baby casks with a volume of 25-100 liters from Tuthilltown Spirits. Finally, it was bottled in American virgin oak barrels.

Ailsa Bay Release 1.2 Sweet Smoke is a limited edition and only 9800 units were produced! We recommend serving it straight without water or ice.
