Ailsa Bay Release 1.2 Sweet Smoke is a great Scottish whisky from the Lowlands with a new design! This single malt was produced at the Girvan distillery located in the town of Carrick.
The whisky will surprise you with its great smoky aroma, complemented by notes of pastry, caramel, earth, and fruit. Its excellent sweet taste will astonish you with high values reaching an incredible 19 SPPM (sweetness parts per million). These values were measured by Master Blender Brian Kinsman.
The phenol level reaches up to 22 PPPM (phenol parts per million). The whisky aged for 6 to 9 months in ex-bourbon Hudson Baby casks with a volume of 25-100 liters from Tuthilltown Spirits. Finally, it was filled into American virgin oak barrels.
Ailsa Bay Release 1.2 Sweet Smoke is a limited edition with only 9800 pieces produced! We recommend serving it neat without water or ice.
