Characteristics of Alibernet Berries and Taste

The grapes of Alibernet have dark blue to almost black berries with a naturally high content of pigments and tannins. Wines from this variety are typically intense, full-bodied, and robust. The taste reveals notes of black currants, blackberries, cherries, and subtle hints of dark chocolate, tobacco, or coffee. In its youth, Alibernet appears denser and more pronounced, while with aging, it gains smoothness, elegance, and a more complex aromatic expression.
