Red, dry, varietal wine Villa Maria Private Bin Merlot/Malbec from New Zealand. Collection Private Bin, vintage 2019, wine region Hawkes Bay. 75% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 5% Malbec.
The wine aged 12 months in oak barrels. Quite intense and harmonious expression of cherry liqueur with a hint of blueberries. Integrated tannins and a lightly spicy finish. Excellent with poultry with liver stuffing.
We recommend serving with poultry or aged hard cheeses.
