Description

Red, dry, varietal wine Villa Maria Private Bin Merlot/Malbec from New Zealand. Private Bin Collection, 2019 vintage, Hawkes Bay wine region. 75 % Merlot, 20 % Cabernet Sauvignon and 5 % Malbec.

The wine was aged for 12 months in oak barrels. Quite intense and harmonious expression of cherry liqueur with a hint of blueberry. Integrated tannins and a slightly spicy finish. Excellent with poultry with liver stuffing.

Recommended to serve with poultry meat or aged hard cheeses.
