Sarajishvili VS
Fresh harmonious brandy Sarajishvili VS is an enticing blend of spirits of various ages, the oldest of which is over 10 years old. This extraordinary brandy has a light amber color with complex aromas of wildflowers and dried fruits, allowing you to explore the velvety taste of Sarajishvili VS, made from grapes from various wine regions of Georgia.
This brandy is based on a blend of wine distillates from different Georgian regions, with the oldest distillate in the blend being over 10 years old. The grapes used in production are typically highly acidic and low in sugar, coming from varieties such as Chinuri, Tsitska, Goruli Mtskvane, ensuring a clean, fresh fruit base.
Distillation takes place in French Charente distilleries, and the brandy then ages for a minimum of 3 years in oak barrels, with a continuous "angel's share," meaning a loss of approximately 3% of volume annually.
Sarajishvili VS has a beautiful amber color with a subtle golden sheen. The aroma is dominated by notes of dried fruits, wildflowers, sweet spices, with a hint of oak. On the palate, it presents as a medium-bodied, velvety taste – you can sense salty nuts, olives, condensed leather, raisins, brown butter, notes of chocolate mocha, and delicate spices with an earthy undertone.
The Sarajishvili brand was founded by Georgian nobleman and chemist David Sarajishvili in 1884, who was the first to introduce French brandy production technology in the Russian Empire. Throughout its history, it has won hundreds of medals at international competitions and traditionally ranks among the top brands in the region – including the title of official supplier to the imperial court.
