Sarajishvili VS
The fresh and harmonious Sarajishvili VS brandy is an enticing blend of spirits of various ages, the oldest of which is more than 10 years old. Grapes from various wine-growing regions of Georgia are used to produce this exceptional brandy with a light amber colour and complex aromas of wild flowers and dried fruit, allowing you to explore the velvety taste of Sarajishvili VS.
This brandy is based on a blend of wine distillates from various Georgian regions, with the oldest distillate in the blend being over 10 years old. The grapes used in production are typically high in acidity and low in sugar, coming from varieties such as Chinuri, Tsitska and Goruli Mtskvane, which ensure a clean, fresh fruit base.
Distillation takes place in French Charente distilleries, followed by at least 3 years of ageing in oak barrels, during which there is a continuous ‘angel's share’, i.e. a loss of approximately 3 % of the volume per year.
Sarajishvili VS has a beautiful amber colour with a delicate golden sheen. The aroma is dominated by notes of dried fruit, wild flowers and sweet spices, with a hint of oak. The palate is medium-bodied and velvety, with salty nuts, olives, condensed milk, raisins, brown butter, chocolate mocha and subtle spices, finishing with an earthy undertone.
The Sarajishvili brand was founded by Georgian nobleman and chemist David Sarajishvili in 1884, who was the first in the Russian Empire to introduce French cognac production technology. Throughout its history, it has won hundreds of medals at international competitions and is traditionally one of the leading brands in the region, including the title of official supplier to the imperial court.
The bottles are filled with 40 % alcohol, have a volume of 0,7 l and are supplied in gift boxes.
