Santa Teresa Claro

Rum from the excellent producer Santa Teresa in Venezuela. Santa Teresa Claro is a white rum with a medium body and gentle sweetness. Claro is a versatile rum ideal for parties or summer gatherings. Santa Teresa Claro rum ages in American white oak barrels for about three years. It offers plenty of fruity notes and is great for cocktails.

Aroma: sweet with herbal notes and a strong bitterness. The nose is tickled by caramelized sugar. The sweetness and richness give way to notes of grass and coconut. It may not be the smoothest rum, but in the category of white rums, the aroma is confident and complex.
Taste: dominated by sugar - almost cotton candy. This dissipates very quickly, and the bitterness from the aroma transfers to the palate. Once the bitterness fades, pleasant notes of toasted coconut, banana, and raw cane surprise you. In them lies the sweetness of the tasting experience.
