Product with an old bottle design.
Saffron Gin is produced in Dijon, France at the distillery of Gabriel Boudier. The gin was launched in 2008. Great emphasis is placed on handcrafted processing during its production. It is made in traditional copper pot stills in small batches. Saffron Gin is made from nine fresh botanicals such as: juniper, coriander, lemon, orange peel, angelica seeds, iris, fennel, and saffron. The herbs are macerated in wheat distillate before distillation, best reflecting the style of London dry gin. The master blenders believe that macerating the botanicals together is unique, while separate distillation would lose the desired effect. Only the rarest spice in the world – saffron is added at the end, for color and exotic flavor nuances (150,000 saffron flowers = 1kg of dry spice).
Aroma: juniper and coriander, later juniper
Taste: excellent, smooth buttery texture, notes of juniper and saffron. Saffron is a gin that will definitely not disappoint you.
