Ron Esclavo 12 Year Old Islay Whisky Finish

Limited edition! Ron Esclavo Rum 12-year-old Islay Whiskey Finish basically hides the well-known premium Ron Esclavo rum for 12 years, enhanced by a special second maturation. This rum first matured for 6-12 years in American and French oak barrels in a tropical climate, which has an intensive effect on the entire maturing process. Subsequently, however, he also completed his second special 9-month maturation in a continental climate in whiskey barrels from the island of Islay. He gained the typical smokyness of this whiskey and completely new tones in the taste profile.
This batch of rum was bottled in August 2020 - only a limited number of 1879 bottles.

Aroma: natural mix of fire, melting marshmallows, ripe fruit biscuits and delicate plant tones
