Nearchived Champagne Pommery Brut Royal with gift packaging in royal blue has won gold at the Decanter World Wine Awards. In 1874, at the request of Madame Pommery, affectionately known as "la Dame aux Roses" (the lady of roses), cellar master Victor Lambert created the first archive "brut" in the history of Champagne. Today, this revolutionary dry style is the standard for Champagne. Brut Royal is beautifully fresh and elegant with great balance and finesse, and an energetic finish thanks to flavors of fleshy fruit and a hint of berries with a blend that highlights Chardonnay grapes. Its freshness, with hints of citrus and white flowers, is the result of the first fermentation, which is carried out at a low temperature (16°), preventing the escape of delicate flavors.
