How Quality Slivovica is Made

The foundation is the selection of ripe plums with enough sugar and aroma. After fermentation, slow distillation in copper stills follows, resulting in a drink full of character and fruity depth. Some slivovicas also age in oak barrels, which gives them a subtle golden hue and hints of vanilla or wood.
