Peated Malts

Peated Malts of Distinction is a collection of Scottish single malt whiskies, created to showcase the wide range of peated whisky flavours from Scotland. The project is under the umbrella of Beam Suntory, which owns several renowned distilleries.

The series includes brands such as Laphroaig (Islay), Bowmore (Islay), Auchentoshan (Lowlands) and Ardmore (Highlands). Each brings a different perspective on peat – from subtle, slightly smoky tones to the intense medicinal smokiness typical of the island of Islay.

The aim of the collection is to show that "peat" does not mean just one style, but a diverse palette of tastes and aromas – from sweet and vanilla combinations to iodine, spicy or earthy nuances. Peated Malts of Distinction is therefore the ideal guide for anyone who wants to discover the world of peated whiskies – whether they are beginners or experienced connoisseurs.
