Ophyum is originally Cuban rum belonging to the craft Caribbean rums from the family distillery Oliver & Oliver. This originally Cuban company now produces it from the politically more stable, yet climatically comparable Dominican Republic, where its production is overseen by the best Cuban Master Blenders.

Ophyum are modern rums with a sweet, yet smooth and balanced character, featuring prominent notes of tropical fruit. They age using the solera system in barrels made of American and French oak.
