Description
It is made from a selection of more than 30 malt and grain whiskeys, aged from 5 to 8 years, blended and aged for three years in sherry barrels in Scotland. This whiskey is then sent to Jerez, where Pedro Ximénez matures in barrels a year before bottling. Richard Paterson and distillery master Gonzalez Byass Antonio Flores experimented with various sherry kegs, including Oloroso and Fino, but eventually opted for Pedro Ximénez kegs because of this seductive expression. Nomad Outland whiskey is a joint blended whiskey from the well-known master distiller Richard Paterson and sherry production experts Gonzalez Byass.
