Swiss gin producers Nginious! have launched a new variation - Smoked & Salted gin. The base of this fascinating gin consists of juniper, bitter oranges, ginger, coriander, quince, and especially cold-smoked chestnuts (smoked for an incredible 40 hours). The gin is flavored with a pinch of salt that adds the right taste.
Aroma: cracked black pepper, peanuts, smoked sea fish with hints of orange and coriander.
Taste: juniper, pine and oak wood, salt, a touch of salted caramel, and a gentle spiciness.
Finish: juniper, salt, and citrus peels.
