Nêga Fulô is a symbol of elegance and authenticity of Brazilian cachaça – a traditional spirit distilled from fresh sugarcane juice. Produced on the family farm Fazenda Soledade, founded in 1827 above the town of Nova Friburgo near Rio de Janeiro, this premium spirit offers a taste that combines the natural freshness of cane juice with a subtle hint of oak.
Cachaça Nêga Fulô is made exclusively from freshly pressed sugar cane, without the use of molasses – a basic requirement for a genuine and pure spirit. The cane juice is only partially mixed with spring water, then undergoes double distillation in traditional copper stills (alambique) – a process that is rare in the cachaça region and ensures the smoothness and high quality of the resulting aroma.
Nêga Fulô is characterised by exceptional elegance, purity and the delicate taste of sugar cane elixir. The distillate is harmoniously mature, with subtle hints of vanilla and floral tones, complemented by a delicate spicy note from oak barrels. The result is pleasantly sweet and ideal as a base for a classic Caipirinha, but it is also enjoyable on its own, ideally slightly chilled or with ice.
The family-owned Fazenda Soledade has its roots in 1827, when the production of Nêga Fulô began in response to the need to establish a high-quality, artisanal cachaça on the world market. In the 20th century, the brand established itself as a ‘national myth’ – its products are now an export item with approximately 90 % of production going abroad.
