Nêga Fulô is a symbol of elegance and authenticity of Brazilian cachaça – a traditional distillate made from fresh sugarcane juice. Produced on the family farm Fazenda Soledade founded in 1827 above the town of Nova Friburgo near Rio de Janeiro, this premium distillate offers a flavor that combines the natural freshness of sugarcane juice with a subtle touch of oak wood.
Cachaça Nêga Fulô is made exclusively from freshly pressed sugarcane, without the use of molasses – which is a fundamental requirement for a true and pure distillate. The sugarcane juice is only partially mixed with spring mountain water, then undergoes double distillation in traditional copper pot stills (alambique) – a process that is rare in the cachaça field and ensures the smoothness and high quality of the resulting aroma.
Nêga Fulô is characterized by exceptional elegance, purity, and the delicate flavor of sugarcane elixir. The distillate is harmoniously aged, with subtle hints of vanilla and floral notes, complemented by a delicate spicy trace from the oak barrel. The result is pleasantly sweet and ideal as a base for a classic Caipirinha, but also impresses when sipped solo – ideally slightly chilled or with ice.
The family business Fazenda Soledade has its roots since 1827, with the production of Nêga Fulô starting as a response to the need to promote high-quality, artisanal cachaça in global markets. In the 20th century, the brand established itself as a “national myth” – its products are now an export item with approximately 90% of production heading abroad.
