The rum brand Nêga Fulô comes from Brazil and is produced on the family farm Fazenda Soledade, which was established in 1827 above the town of Nova Friburgo. After more than 190 years of agricultural traditions, the farmers also began producing their own cachaça – the goal was to bring a premium product made using traditional methods to the market.

Cachaça “Nêga Fulô” first appeared on the market in 1976, when the distillate from the farm began to focus significantly on export and the effort to establish itself among quality cachaça brands. The symbolic name “Nêga Fulô” celebrates the richness of folklore and the woman who, according to legend, sold the highest quality cachaça in the region, thus becoming an icon of the brand.

In the second half of the 20th century, Nêga Fulô established itself as a “national myth” – with approximately 90% of production exported abroad, today cachaça is a symbol of quality from Brazil. The farm adheres to traditional principles – pressing fresh sugarcane juice, double distillation in copper pot stills (alambique), and gentle aging in oak barrels – which create a high-quality product.

Nêga Fulô is therefore more than just cachaça – it is a legacy of the farm with over 190 years of history, a brand established by legend and artisanal precision that has succeeded in Brazil and on the international stage.
