Lachs Goldwasser
Lachs Goldwasser is an exceptional herbal liqueur with a rich history dating back to 1598, when it was first produced in Gdansk (then Danzig) by Ambrosien Vermöllen. The liqueur became famous for its luxurious appearance – it contains real 22-carat gold flakes, which give it a unique visual effect. Originally, it was a favorite drink of Russian tsars Peter and Catherine the Great and is still made according to the original recipe, which is a closely guarded secret.
This liqueur features a complex composition that includes anise, cinnamon, fennel, ginger, rhubarb, parsley, sage, and thyme. Its aroma is rich in herbal and spicy notes, intertwined with a subtle sweetness. The taste is dominated by the leafy freshness of freshly chopped herbs and ginger, complemented by a pleasant sweet flavor. The finish is warm, spicy, and herbal, making it an ideal digestif after a hearty meal.
Lachs Goldwasser is available in a bottle with a volume of 0.7 l and an alcohol content of 40%. Its elegant appearance and rich flavor make it a remarkable gift or a luxurious addition to festive occasions. With its history and unique composition, Lachs Goldwasser remains a symbol of tradition and quality among herbal liqueurs.
