Kremlin Award

In February 2012, word spread around the world that the Kremlin would extinguish the thirst of its own and foreign politicians with its own, custom-made vodka Kremlin Award. At first, they kept it a secret whether this real Russian vodka would be on the market as well, but today it is here. Four companies took part in its production, it is filled by the oldest and largest Russian distillery Kristall, which, according to vodka experts, is in itself a guarantee of quality. According to Viktor Chrekov, a spokesman for Russia's presidential office, it is "not a vulgar self-propelled bar, but vodka from the highest quality wheat and water."

The Kremlin Award is the official vodka of the Kremlin, intended for official events. The most important foreign statesmen allegedly receive the entire bottle as attention. President Dmitry Medvedev and Prime Minister Vladimir Putin often present themselves to the public as followers of a healthy lifestyle and sports, and even at official events they avoid alcohol, they like champagne at most. When Putin wants to show his "folk" face, he takes a picture with a beer.

Vodka Kremlin Award is not the first alcoholic beverage named after the seat of Russian monarchs. The President's Office has announced in the past that in cooperation with the factory in Yerevan (Armenia) it has launched cognac - more precisely brandy - the Kremlin Award and approved the production of Kremlin quality champagne.
