Kamiki Intense Wood Whisky is fundamentally an original and highly regarded Japanese blended malt whisky Kamiki, but with an extended aging period in casks made from Japanese cedar wood for lovers of intense flavors. Kamiki is the first and only whisky brand in the world that has aged in casks made from Japanese cedar wood (Yoshino Sugi).
It originates from the Japanese city of temples, Nara, and was consecrated by priests from the Omiwa shrine. The name of the whisky was inspired by the impressive breeze created by the wind descending from the Japanese sacred mountain Miwa, and it translates to “breath of the god.”

Kamiki Whisky is a modern Japanese blended malt whisky surrounded by the ancient customs of the Japanese Kansai region. The name of the whisky, which translates to “Breath of the God,” is named after the wind that comes from Mount Miwa, located near the Japanese city of Nara.
Kamiki Whisky is created from carefully selected Japanese barley whiskies, which are blended with the finest whiskies from around the world along with Japanese spring water. The whisky then matures in traditional oak barrels, but as the first and only whisky in the world, it undergoes a final maturation in barrels made from Japanese cedar wood - Yoshino Sugi, which imparts an unmistakable and very unique flavor.

Kamiki Sakura Wood is the first whisky in the world aged in casks made from rare cedar and cherry wood. It is also the first whisky in the world to be aged in three types of casks - first in an oak cask, second in a cedar cask, and finally in a cherry cask.
