Jameson The Cooper's Croze

Cooper's Croze is a whiskey created by our head carpenter Ger Buckley, which demonstrates the variety of barrels in our Midleton distillery and the great influence of wood. With the knowledge passed on by 5 generations of his family, Ger selects, repairs and maintains our valuable barrels. Cooper's Croze is a carefully crafted whiskey that easily carries vanilla sweetness, rich fruit flavors, floral and spicy tones and the undeniable influence of oak. You can choose whiskey from wood, but you will never choose wood from whiskey.

Aroma : honey introduction, then canned apples, vanilla, caramel, white chocolate. A few faint tones of straw or grass. Strong enough.

Taste : pleasant chewing structure. Fruit from the orchard - canned apples. Quite dense malt character. Citrus begins to show. Maybe grapefruit when combined with that bitterness of the wood.

Conclusion : Very long, persistent and woody.
