Jameson The Cooper's Croze

Cooper’s Croze is a whisky created by our master cooper Ger Buckley that showcases the diversity of casks in our Midleton distillery and the significant influence of wood. With the knowledge passed down through 5 generations of his family, Ger selects, repairs, and maintains our precious barrels. Cooper’s Croze is a meticulously crafted whisky that effortlessly carries vanilla sweetness, rich fruity flavors, floral and spicy notes, and undeniable oak influence. You can take the wood from the whisky, but you can never take the whisky from the wood.

Aroma: honeyed introduction, followed by stewed apples, vanilla, caramel, white chocolate. A few vague notes of straw or grass. Quite strong.

Taste: pleasant chewy texture. Orchard fruit - stewed apples. Quite a dense malty character. Citrus starts to show. Perhaps grapefruit, when combined with that bitterness of wood.

Finish: Very long, lingering, and woody.
