Gin Gin Slovakia Oak Aged is the first Slovak premium gin that combines centuries-old herbal traditions with a modern craft approach. It is produced at the Distillery in Bird Valley in Porúbka near Žilina and is the result of meticulous work with local ingredients and a focus on quality.
The base of the gin is a grain distillate, into which carefully selected herbs and fruits are macerated, such as juniper, linden and elderflower, thyme, quince, gentian, and angelica.
After maceration, the distillate passes through a copper basket filled with these ingredients, ensuring complexity and balance of flavors. This process gives the gin a gentle and harmonious character.
Subsequently, the distillate ages in oak barrels.
Gin Gin Slovakia Oak Aged is characterized by a crystal-clear color. The aroma features dominant notes of juniper, complemented by nuances of olives, wood, spices, herbs, and resin.
The taste is smooth and harmonious, with pronounced notes of juniper, black pepper, flowers, herbs, and lemon peel. The finish is long, bittersweet, with hints of spice, citrus, and cinnamon.
Bottles are filled with an alcohol content of 43.2% with a volume of 0.7 l.
