Gin Gin Slovakia Oak Aged is the first Slovak premium gin that combines centuries-old herbal traditions with a modern artisanal approach. It is produced in the Pálenica distillery in Vtáčie Údolie in Porúbka near Žilina and is the result of meticulous work with local ingredients and an emphasis on quality.
The base of the gin is a grain distillate, which is macerated with carefully selected herbs and fruits such as juniper berries, lime blossom, elderflower, wild marjoram, horehound and angelica.
After maceration, the distillate passes through a copper basket filled with these ingredients, which ensures complexity and balance of flavours. This process gives the gin a delicate and harmonious character.
The distillate is then aged in oak barrels.
Gin Gin Slovakia Oak Aged is characterised by its crystal clear colour. The aroma is dominated by notes of juniper, complemented by nuances of olives, wood, spices, herbs and resin.
The taste is delicate and harmonious, with distinctive notes of juniper, black pepper, flowers, herbs and lemon peel. The finish is long, bittersweet, with hints of spice, citrus and cinnamon.
The bottles are filled with 43,2 % alcohol and have a volume of 0,7 l.
