Edinburgh Gin Seaside

This Scottish experimental London Dry gin from the brand Edinburgh was launched for sale in 2015. It is the result of a collaboration with a team from the International Centre for Brewing and Distilling at Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh. They combined their best expertise to create this excellent and high-quality gin.

It is a very fresh and light gin with a sweet aroma, subtle saltiness, herbs, and grassy notes on the palate. Seaside is a gently sweet, mineral gin made from botanicals grown on the beaches around Edinburgh. It is excellent in cocktails or long drinks such as Gin & Tonic, Martini, Gimlet, and Hanky Panky. But if you decide to taste it neat, try it with a pinch of salt.

Aroma: fresh, floral, sweet, herbs, juniper
Taste: balanced, sweet, grass, spice, juniper, subtle notes of saltiness
Finish: pleasantly sharp, sweet-salty
