Donut Rum Salted Caramel
Do you love rum and donuts? Then this rum is just for you! A unique blend of aged 8-year-old Dominican rum, matured in ex-bourbon barrels, with the flavor of sweet donuts topped with Salted Caramel.
The distillery Donut Rum decided to create this rum in honor of the inventor of the donut hole. In the 19th century, Captain Hanson Gregory was the first to come up with the idea of a hole in the donut. Hanson loved donuts, but he always disliked that the edges were perfectly cooked while the center was slightly raw, so one day he cut a hole in the dough. He and his ship crew reportedly had a ritual of dipping these donuts in rum.
The rum is made using 100% natural ingredients, which give it an unmistakable taste and aroma. This is a vegan, gluten-free rum!
