The pears are not harvested when fully ripe, but are left to ripen. They are only processed when they are at their juiciest and sweetest. Next to Slivovica, Hruskovica is the second most popular spirit, precisely because of its exceptional taste.
The delicious taste of pears stands out at 42 % alcohol by volume.
