Description
This calvados comes from the Pays d'Auge region located in the heart of Normandy. The apples from which it is distilled are the best and highest quality in the entire surrounding area. Calvados is distilled twice in small copper pot stills just like cognac. The distillate then ages at a constant temperature of 12 to 14 °C in oak barrels in the cellars. It is a smooth alcohol with a distinct apple flavor.
