Choya Sake is a traditional Japanese wine made from local rice from Nara Prefecture, Koji yeast and mineral water. This combination creates an excellent drink that surprises with its aroma and especially its taste.
Choya Sake is made from premium Japanese rice and high-quality water, fermented using a traditional process with Aspergillus oryzae (koji) and special yeasts. The process takes place under strictly controlled conditions that preserve the purity and delicacy of the final distillate.
The taste is characterised by a delicately dry profile with a smooth texture and light fruity notes. The aroma is subtle, suitable for consumers who prefer less distinctive drinks but also appreciate a sophisticated experience.
Rice, underwent a very slow fermentation at a low temperature, thanks to which the sake acquired a rich aroma. We recommend serving slightly chilled or very warm at a temperature of 7 to 50 °C.
It goes perfectly with traditional Japanese cuisine such as sashimi, sushi, teppanyaki, sukiyaki and teriyaki.
