Chateau de Jau AOP Côtes du Roussillon Rosé 2020 is a French rose wine made from grape varieties 60% Syrah, 25% Grenache Noir and 15% Mourvèdre . AOP Côtes du Roussillon wine region, Agly Valley, France. This important wine-growing area of approximately 100 hectares has been cared for by Cistercian monks since the 12th century and is now owned by the Dauré family. The area offers ideal climatic conditions for viticulture: sunlight allowing the slate subsoil to retain heat during the day and provide it to the vineyards at night, as well as the Mediterranean Sea, which temperes the summer heat with year-round north wind for healthy ripening of grapes.
