Canadian Club is an iconic Canadian whisky that has been produced since 1858. Its origins trace back to Walkerville, Ontario, where Hiram Walker established his distillery. This whisky became popular in men's clubs in the USA and Canada, leading to its nickname "Club Whisky." It was later officially renamed "Canadian Club."
Canadian Club 1858 is a blended whisky that ages in oak barrels for over three years, giving it an exceptionally smooth taste. It has a light golden color and its aroma is fresh and delicate, with hints of almonds, barley sugar, and anise, tones of freshly cut grass and fennel, a touch of straw, and the freshness of plants. The taste is spicy and vibrant, complemented by notes of rich oak and sweet vanilla, with a pleasant sweetness. You will also find notes of winter spices and dark sugar, with a touch of rum. The finish is clean, dry, and lingering with subtle oak tones.
This whisky is very versatile and can be served neat, on the rocks, or as part of mixed drinks. It is an ideal choice for those looking for a smooth and refreshing whisky that is accessible to new consumers.
Bottles are filled with an alcohol content of 40% with a volume of 0.7 l.
