Armand de Brignac is a prestigious brand of champagne, created by the Cattier family. This family has a rich history as an elite champagne house in the small village of Chigny les Roses, owning and cultivating family vineyards since 1763. The patriarch Jean-Jacques Cattier currently oversees the production of wine at the estate with a strictly limited annual yield, ensuring that the family’s artisanal winemaking traditions are preserved in every bottle.

The Cattier cellars are among the deepest and oldest in the Champagne region and are classified by the interprofessional committee Comité Interprofessional du Vin de Champagne and Institut National des Appellations d'Origine. The cellars feature three architectural styles: Gothic, Renaissance, and Romanesque. Armand de Brignac champagne matures in a special, enclosed section of the deepest part of these cellars, 119 steps underground.

Each cuvée of Armand de Brignac reflects centuries spent perfecting the art of champagne production. Armand de Brignac champagne has gained recognition from wine critics and connoisseurs worldwide: Armand de Brignac Ace of Spades Brut Gold was chosen in 2010 in a blind tasting of 1,000 brands as the best champagne in the world. Armand de Brignac champagne was also awarded as the number 1 Blanc de Noirs champagne in the world in 2016. The Armand de Brignac brand is currently owned by Shawn "Jay Z" Carter and LVMH.
