He was a loud advocate for equality, love, and inclusion – creating against racism, homophobia, and the AIDS stigma (which he himself died from in 1990 at the age of 31).

On the occasion of the launch of the edition, an original cocktail Absolut Haring Fizz was created, which connects New York with Asia – two major inspirations in Haring's life. The drink combines fresh apple, orange, sesame, and ginger. The result is a bold, refreshing flavor with a distinctly yellow color, reminiscent of Haring's original work.
