He was an American pop art artist, famous for his bold, comic-style artwork – simple figures, hearts, dogs, dancing people, and strong colors.
In the 1980s, he brought New York’s streets to life with his art, often appearing on subway walls.
He was a passionate advocate for equality, love, and inclusion – creating against racism, homophobia, and the stigma of AIDS (which he himself died of in 1990 at the age of 31).
His works are now iconic, instantly recognizable, and symbolize the freedom of creativity and the message that art is for everyone.
To celebrate the launch of the edition, an original cocktail – the Absolut Haring Fizz – was created, connecting New York and Asia, two major inspirations in Haring’s life. The drink combines fresh apple, orange, sesame, and ginger. The result is a bold, refreshing flavor with a bright yellow color reminiscent of Haring’s original artwork.
