It was born from the passion of Bernard and Rosemary Walsh, who founded Walsh Whiskey in 1999 and since then have been dedicated to creating excellent whiskeys for current and future generations. Writer's Tears is a celebration of the golden age of Irish distilling in the 19th century, when pot stills and malt whiskeys were blended into high-end blends, often called the "Champagne of Irish whiskeys".
