The GlenAllachie 10 Year Old Port Wood Finish
Great whisky from the GlenAllachie Wood Finish series, represents a characteristic expression of the finest single malts from the GlenAllachie distillery. A beautiful ruby-red malt, specially selected by master Billy Walker, matures for over 8 years in American barrels. It is then transferred to port pipe casks after Ruby Port, where it completes its aging. This develops depth in the whisky, a complex aroma, and vibrant fruity notes. Regular monitoring during maturation ensures a perfect balance between the influence of the wood and the preservation of the whisky's characteristics. Limited edition, only 1763 cartons were produced.
Color: ruby red.
Aroma: waves of warm honey, sweet spices, rose hips, and chocolate.
Taste: a flood of warm honey, caramel, syrup, and plum with dark chocolate.
