Sangre De Vida Tequila is made using traditional methods from 100% blue Weber agave. The hearts of the agave (piñas) are slowly baked in brick ovens with stone walls, a century-old technique of slow cooking. After baking, cooling, crushing, and pressing follow to extract the sweet juice (mosto), which ferments for five days. The tequila is then slowly distilled three times, with the final distillation taking place in small distillation units with higher heat to remove impurities and achieve the best agave flavor.
