Ron Quorhum is an impressive Caribbean rum that, along with several other brands, helps spread the word among rum enthusiasts by the company Oliver&Oliver from the Dominican Republic.
Ron Quorhum is distilled using the traditional pot still method and offers a pleasantly sweet, herbal, and smoky flavor. The rums age using the solera system, which gives them a distinct character and intense flavor notes.
A large part of the production process, such as aging, blending, and bottling, takes place in the Dominican Republic. However, the rums themselves come from other Caribbean countries, most often from Panama and Trinidad (the company Oliver & Oliver also has roots in another country, as it was founded in the 19th century in Cuba). Its founder was Juanillo Oliver, and after Fidel Castro came to power in Cuba, his descendants moved the family business to the Dominican Republic, where the tropical climatic conditions are the same, but the political conditions are significantly better. Thus, another rum brand has been made available to the world, which is definitely worth tasting!
