Ron Colón Salvadoreño started as a passionate bartender project with the bold goal of innovating in the rum category and becoming a rock star of the rum world. The brand proudly honors the history and culture of El Salvador, combining modern techniques with traditional distillation methods to create exceptional products with rich flavor notes and a captivating story.

Rum has played a key role in history, serving as currency since 1790. Like tobacco, rum was a valuable commodity, easily stored and transported in barrels. Unlike sugar, rum gained value with age, inspiring the brand's name in honor of the old currency "colones" in El Salvador. Although this currency was replaced by the US dollar in 2001, old coins and banknotes remain collector's items. A significant moment was also in 2021 when El Salvador became the first country to recognize Bitcoin as legal tender.

Ron Colón Salvadoreño stands out with its offering of unconventional products alongside pure rum. These include Red Banana Oleo rum 81 PF, Rumzcal - an original combination of rum and mezcal in a 33/66 ratio, RumRye - a unique blend of rum and rye whiskey in a 50/50 ratio, and coffee-infused rum.
