Plantation Single Vintage Barbados 2007

Plantation Single Vintage Barbados 2007 is a limited edition rum from the Terravera series, created from rum distilled in 2007 at the West Indies Rum Distillery.

It is a blend of molasses rums produced in both pot and column stills. Fermentation took place over 3 days. The rum was first matured for 2 years by tropical maturation in 200 litre ex-bourbon casks and then a further 14 years by continental maturation in 350-litre ex-cognac Ferrand casks. It was bottled at 48,7 % alcohol.

Only 20 barrels were produced for the whole world! The bottles come in beautiful designer gift boxes.

Colour: amber with gold highlights
Nose: spices, cinnamon, nutmeg, roasted almonds, banana, citrus peel, flowers
Taste: slightly sweet, citrus, a hint of coconut, spices, crème brûlée
Finish: long, coconut, spices, honey, aniseed, vanilla, hazelnuts
