Pelotón de la Muerte Mezcal

Pelotón de la Muerte is an authentic Mexican mezcal, produced in the traditional way in the state of Guerrero, known for its rich artisanal heritage. The brand name means "Death Squad" and refers to a group of warriors during the Mexican Revolution who carried the symbol of a skull on their flag - today this iconography is reflected in the bottle design and brand identity.

Mezcal Pelotón de la Muerte is made from 100% espadín agave. The agave is roasted in traditional earthen pits, then crushed using tahona stones, fermented naturally in wooden fermenters and distilled in copper stills. This process guarantees the authentic character of the drink with a full smoky aroma, herbal notes and a slightly sweet finish.

The brand is also known for its rebellious image and belongs to the Mezcaloteca – Casa de Mezcal portfolio, which brings together small family distilleries and supports traditional producers.
