Patrón is a popular tequila brand, known for its exceptional quality and unique square bottle design. The brand was founded in 1989 by John Paul DeJoria and Martin Crowley in the Mexican town of Jalisco, in a region famous for growing blue agave.

Patrón tequila is produced using traditional methods, with only 100% blue agave being hand-harvested and carefully processed. The agave hearts, called piñas, are slowly baked in traditional brick ovens and then crushed using an ancient stone mill known as a "tahona." This process extracts rich juices, which are fermented and then distilled in copper pot stills.

Patrón operates its distillery with a focus on sustainability and environmental protection, including water recycling and utilizing renewable energy sources.
