The brand Mamont Vodka draws its inspiration from the legend of the Yukagir Mammoth – a nearly perfectly preserved mammoth discovered in Siberian ice, where it had rested for about 18,000 years. This find has become a symbol of strength and endurance over time and has formed the foundation of the brand's identity: a powerful story that transformed the shape of the bottle into the form of a mammoth tusk.

Vodka was originally produced at Itkul Distillery, a historic distillery founded in 1868 in the Altai region of Siberia. This factory traditionally led production true to artisanal standards – from regional winter wheat, through multi-stage distillation to filtration through birch charcoal, sometimes enriched with silver ions and cedar nuts. This gives the vodka its unique, elegant profile - smooth, rich, and with hints of grains and spices.

Recently, the production of Mamont Vodka has moved to Georgia, to the wine region of Kakheti, specifically to the company GWS (Georgian Wines & Spirits). This company is located in the city of Telavi, in the area under the most beautiful mountain ranges of the Caucasus, and uses artesian water from the Alazani valley - a pure, soft base for the distillate. GWS ensures high quality for each bottle and employs traditional distillation methods of local provenance.

The move to Georgia has allowed the brand to:
- Preserve natural purity and tradition, utilizing local pure water and regional know-how.
- Achieve more efficient distribution, as Georgia is closer to the main target markets in Europe and the Middle East.
- Combine two worlds – Siberian legend and Georgian terroir, enhancing the brand story and ensuring the use of quality raw materials from regions recognized for producing premium spirits.
