Ron Legendario is a Cuban rum brand with a rich history dating back to 1919, when the Santa Cruz distillery was opened, originally focused on the production of industrial alcohol and distillates.

The Birth of a Legend from Havana

In the 1940s, the distillery began producing new types of rum, which made the Legendario brand famous throughout Cuba. Later, Don Francisco Gerardo Smith acquired a historic estate in Havana, which became the center of rum production. The combination of honest craftsmanship, quality sugarcane, and tropical aging laid the foundation for a rum that became a symbol of Cuba.

Legendario Around the World

In 1998, CEXVAL acquired the rights to distribute Legendario rum to Spain and the rest of the world, expanding the brand beyond the Caribbean. Bottles with an elegant shape reminiscent of the royal palm and labels inspired by Cuban design are now the brand's hallmark.
