Fernet Stock 1l

Fernet Stock is one of the most iconic Czech herbal liqueurs, with a history dating back to 1927. It is produced at the Stock Plzeň–Božkov distillery according to the original recipe, which combines a special blend of more than 14 herbs and spices sourced from around the world.

The herbs are macerated in alcohol to release their natural flavour and aroma, followed by a period of ageing and gentle sweetening with caramel. This process creates the distinctive bittersweet character that Fernet Stock is known for.

The aroma is dominated by intense herbal notes with hints of mint, anise, quinine and spices. The flavour is strongly bitter and complex – combining herbs, roots, earthy tones, light caramel and a long-lasting bitter finish.

Fernet Stock is traditionally served chilled and neat, but it also works very well in mixed drinks. It is especially popular with tonic (“Bavorák”), ginger beer or as an addition to warm beverages.
