Domaine De La Baume is a renowned winery located in the heart of the Languedoc-Roussillon region, specifically in the village of Servian between the towns of Béziers and Pézenas in France. This winery is known for its high-quality wines that reflect the richness and diversity of the local terroir.

The winery was founded in 1880 by Jean Prat, who, after the crisis caused by phylloxera, restored abandoned vineyards and built a estate known as “La Folie.” Prat and his sons replanted 100 hectares of vineyards over twenty years and opened a wine shop on Boulevard Haussmann in Paris in 1900, significantly contributing to the development of the winery.

Since 2003, Domaine de la Baume has been part of the Les Grands Chais de France group under the leadership of Joseph Helfrich. Under his guidance, the winery continues to develop and promote its wines on the international stage.

Domaine de la Baume manages approximately 176 hectares of vineyards, where varieties such as Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Viognier, Roussanne, Cabernet Blanc, Cinsault, Grenache, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Petit Verdot, and Pinot Noir are cultivated. Domaine La Baume

The winery utilizes diverse soil types including limestone pebbles on slopes and clay-limestone or sandy-clay soils on plateaus. These conditions allow for the production of wines with a rich aromatic profile.
