Smith was a visionary, building the distillery right on the railway line to ensure easy distribution across Scotland and beyond. Cragganmore quickly earned a reputation for its complexity and remains one of the most highly regarded distilleries in the region.

Today, Cragganmore is part of the Diageo portfolio and represents Speyside in the “Classic Malts of Scotland” collection. Its whisky is celebrated for honeyed sweetness and fruity layers balanced with a delicate smoky finish.
