The brand Chabot is a recognized family producer of armagnac founded in 1828 in the town of Labastide‑d’Armagnac in the heart of the Bas‑Armagnac region (Gascogna, France), where everything is processed and bottled – from vineyards to bottles – directly on-site.

Traditional production is based on the unique terroir of the region, utilizing grape varieties such as Baco Blanc, Ugni Blanc, Folle Blanche, and Colombard, distillation in copper stills, and slow aging in local varnished oak barrels from the Monlezun forests, where it then matures in old cellars with an ideal climate.

Since 1963, the brand has opened to international markets, and today Chabot Armagnac is sold in approximately 96 countries, making it the best-selling armagnac brand in the world. The family heritage spans generations, with the current leadership – the Gentzbourger family – preserving authenticity while developing the brand's global presence and modernization.
