Be:Café is a young Slovak coffee roastery that was established in 2018 in the Rajecká valley south of Žilina. Its founder, Matej Rybár, decided to bring high-quality, freshly roasted coffee to the market with the aim of teaching people to drink coffee from local roasters instead of large commercial brands. ​

The name Be:Café reflects the company's philosophy – "be coffee". This name symbolizes a passion for coffee and the effort to enhance life with a delicious sip of quality coffee. Be:Café's goal is to make coffee from around the world accessible to everyone and show them where the coffee they are drinking comes from.

Since its inception, Be:Café has focused on importing the highest quality coffee beans from around the world, which are roasted weekly according to customer preferences. They roast coffee in small batches to ensure its freshness, and they pay attention to the quality of the beans when selecting them.

In 2024, Matej Rybár was awarded the title of best roaster in Slovakia at the Slovak Roasting Masters competition, confirming the high standard of Be:Café roastery.
