Be:Café is a young Slovak coffee roastery, which was established in 2018 in the Rajecka valley south of Žilina. Its founder, Matej Rybár, decided to bring quality, freshly roasted coffee to the market with the aim of teaching people to drink coffee from local roasters instead of big commercial brands.

The name Be:Café reflects the company's philosophy - "to be coffee". This name symbolizes the passion for coffee and the desire to make life more enjoyable with a tasty sip of quality coffee. Be:Café aims to make coffee from all over the world accessible to all people and to show them which country the coffee they are drinking comes from.

Since its inception, Be:Café has focused on importing the finest quality coffee beans from around the world, which are roasted weekly according to customer preferences. They roast the coffee in small batches to ensure freshness, and take care in selecting the beans to ensure their quality.

In 2024, Matej Rybár won the title of the best roaster in Slovakia in the Slovak Roasting Masters competition, which confirms the high level of the Be:Café roastery.
