Abyssal

Abyssal Vodka is an original project by the Bodegas Williams & Humbert (Spain) winery, founded in 1877. This prestigious wine and spirits company, with more than 130 years of tradition, is best known for its solera system used to produce the famous ‘Gran Duque de Alba’ brandy.

Abyssal was created by the winery's research and development team, which spent three years searching for a unique product – the result is the world's first vodka distilled from oloroso sherry. The same distillation apparatus used for premium brandy was used – solera-type column stills, ensuring high purity and an elegant profile.

The Abyssal bottle has the shape of a black ‘pearl’ – a round design in thick glass, complemented by a metal ornament. This visual evokes the deep and mysterious sea environment (‘abyssal’ = deep sea), which corresponds to the name and exclusivity. The packaging is designed to stand out as a piece of jewellery or a collector's item.
