Description
Nichta Dunaj Signature D.S.C., vintage 2018, is a wine with a protected designation of origin, red, dry, Dunaj variety, Nitrian wine-growing area, village Čajkov - hon Kruhy.
This exceptional red wine matured for 3 years in large wooden barrels and 1 year before being put on sale in the bottle. The aroma is dominated by stone fruits, blueberries with hints of cherries in chocolate. The rich taste is based on fruit with notes of licorice, vanilla and cinnamon. You might feel soft tannins and a sweeter, thermal finish in it.
Serve ideally at a temperature of 16-18 °C, in 500-650 ml red wine glasses of the "bordeaux" type. For the best experience with opening of the aroma and taste, we recommend decanting into a carafe before serving.
