AH Riise Royal Danish Navy- inspired rum with an exceptionally rich spectrum of aromas and flavors is intended for more seasoned rum lovers . This molasses rum is produced by traditional methods and slow fermentation according to the original recipe of the brand's founder, Albert Heinrich Riis and his famous marine rum "Royal Navy."
He supplied naval rum to the Danish fleet whenever they anchored in Charlotte Amalie, the center of the former Danish colony in the Caribbean. In his day, all sailors serving on Danish merchant or military ships were prescribed a regular daily dose of rum. Rum was redistributed by the master, who made sure that the sailors did not die of thirst during the voyage and that the crew adhered to the "drinking rum regime" during the voyage and did not postpone it until later. The water on board was no longer drinkable after a few days, while the rum was getting better and better.
A.H. Riise Royal Danish Navy is a series of naval rums created to commemorate the significant historical role and long-standing tradition of the Royal Danish Navy.
